How can I spruce up the wetland on my property without doing it harm?

By admin On May 31, 2010 Comments Off

I live in Western Washington. It’s not really a marshland. It’s more of a depression where water gathers and dries up every year. I want to put in a trail and remove all the dead trees. I could maybe replace them with something else. I just don’t want it to look like it got hit by a windstorm anymore while being conscious of maintaining the health of the environment.

Is there any advantage to purchasing the wetland lots neighboring my house?

By admin On May 28, 2010 Comments Off

I have a couple of lots that are adjacent to my property that are deemed wetlands. They cannot be developed and are just there. Is there any advantage at all to purchasing them? Taxes… anything? They could be purchased for very little money.
