Help to Save Philipstown New York’s class II Wetland OL-2

The Further Filling, Polluting and Fragmentation of our NY State Wetlands waterways and Hudson River Tributaries can no longer be tolerated. Just a few of the costs of continuing to desecrate our wetlands and Hudson River tributaries is as follows: Increased flooding, polluted groundwater and in fragmenting our wetlands/watershed, an environment for West Nile carrying mosquitoes is created. We now have many laws in place to help protect our invaluable natural resources, such as the MS4 laws, which by law are to have been fully implemented by the 1-08-08. Philipstown New York is ignoring these and many other laws and continuing to dump our stormwater into our Hudson River Tributaries “by design.” Here in Philipstown, the NYSDEC is currently looking into the aforementioned violations.
